Mr. Stilson's Biography

Mr. Stilson grew up in North Western PA, and studied both trumpet and piano throughout his elementary/high school career. He graduated from Conneaut Valley High School and went on to attend attend Mercyhurst University, earning a degree in Music Education with a concentration in piano.
Upon graduation from Mercyhurst, he married his wife Kelly and moved to Woodbridge, Virginia to teach choral music at Godwin Middle School. Wanting to be closer to family, he moved back in PA in 2007 and found West Branch to be the perfect fit. Mr. Stilson began teaching at West Branch in the fall of 2007 and has taught choir, guitar and general music. He is currently teaching elementary general music as well as the middle school choir.
Along with teaching, Mr. Stilson plays in a jazz combo group and serves as accompanist and choir director at Centre Grove UMC in Clearfield, PA.
